This family contacted Spencer Homes Remodeling to expand their living space into their unfinished basement area.  This awesome basement finish added a full bar, a separate wine-bar, gaming area, bedroom with egress window, bathroom, and tv area to the Columbia IL home. The bar and wine bar area features Aristokraft “Landen Maple” door style cabinets in “Flagstone” stain color, with Cambria Quartz countertops in “Britannica Gold”.  The stone backsplash used in both areas was Uptown Split Face Ledden in “Siena Averio” color. The back-bar area also includes two “hidden” GFCI electrical outlets recessed into the quartz countertops that click open and raise up for use.  Directly across from the bar is an additional bar-top seating area with matching Quartz top used for viewing the huge 80” tv.  Other features of the basement include “Cortec Pro Plus” Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring in “Bastion Elm” color in all areas of the basement except the bedroom, custom arched niche areas to showcase sports memorabilia, an open stairway with handrails and balusters, and plenty of recessed LED can lighting on dimmers.  This awesome open floorplan, attention to detail, and final finishes added great value to the home, and ensures that this basement finish will be enjoyed by the family for years to come.
