After making lifelong friends and customers (with an earlier completion a “Basement Finish”), the Shively's contacted Fulford Home Remodeling to complete a “Pergola” addition. Fulfords' “3-D” design included a 14' x 16' pergola that had finished tails on all sides, arched supports, and post trim detail that conveniently provided support for a 12 oz. beverage. The Shively's also wanted to complete a beautiful back yard with a natural wood product (without the standard maintenance of cedar). So after much research, we decided on a tropical hardwood called “Tiger Deck”. Beyond the product being naturally stunning in beauty, it comes with a 25 year transferable warranty. In addition, the product was found to be environmentally friendly, having land management plans which are based on selective and sustainable logging practices.
